PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (Mandatory  Continuing Education)
Both the national and state professional associations require members to maintain currency and competency in their members' professional practice. State licensing requires mandatory continuing education every two years. School personnel credentialed after 1995, must satisfy mandatory professional development to renew their credentials every five years. Hearing Aid Dispensers' licensing also has mandatory continuing education requirements. Attendance at the annual CSHA State Conference can satisfy these obligations.
